Shannon earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University and then continued on to earn her Master of Science in Accounting from NC State University. She then went on to pass the CPA exam on her first attempt and achieved recognition for one of the top scores in the state on the exam. After graduation Shannon worked in private industry as a staff accountant. She then started her career in software and business consulting performing Timberline implementations for a large Timberline reseller. While there, Shannon achieved her Timberline Construction and Property Management certifications while gaining extensive experience in both Construction and Property Management for Timberline. Shannon joined Barbour Consulting in 2003 and has a dual role as Senior Consultant and the Company's Controller.
