Mike is a certified Timberline Consultant who has worked in the construction industry for 10 years and with Timberline for the last 8 years. He joined Barbour Consulting in April of 2006, as a Timberline Consultant. He was most recently CFO for Buckner Companies, a large specialty contractor and equipment rental company located in Graham, North Carolina. Previously he served in the same position at RJ Patton Co. Inc., a mechanical contractor in Meriden, Connecticut. These positions afforded him the opportunity to work broadly within Timberline applications as an end user in all of the Timberline modules.
Mike is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), certified in the State of Connecticut. In addition, he is a Certified Construction Industry Finance Professional (CCIFP), an accreditation from the Construction Finance Management Association (CFMA) which recognizes finance and accounting in the Construction Industry require special industry knowledge and a unique set of tools that is only gained from extensive industry experience.
Mike has a BS in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He lives in Cary, North Carolina with his wife and daughter.
