Margaret is a financial professional with a CPA qualification and wide international experience in consumer and service industries. A switch in majors from Law to Accounting led Margaret to begin her career as a financial accountant in the Shipping Industry. A move from New Zealand to the United Kingdom in 1990 prompted Margaret to start her own Financial Services company providing accounting support and systems training to large multinational companies such as Intel, EMI and Reuters. Another geographical move to the USA in 1996 brought about a career specialization in accounting software for IBM involving project management, system design, development , test and deployment.
Over the past five years Margaret has been involved in non-profit accounting and web services while raising two small boys.
Margaret joined Barbour Consulting in 2007 and specializes in software development, custom report development and accounting systems.
