We are looking for a consultant with experience in Sage Timberline Office, construction industry accounting practices, and report development using Crystal Reports. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with C-level executives. CPA certification or background is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience as a controller or staff accountant in the construction industry, experience with consulting, and an aptitude for technology.
We are a young company and are growing rapidly. Our business is a mix of consulting projects and long-term product development, and the person we hire will participate in both. You'll have a chance to work with some very experienced programmers and consultants, and play a key role in building the technical foundation for our products.
Barbour Consulting Services was founded in 2002 and is based in Raleigh, NC. We provide technology consulting services, software products and technology integration to clients in the construction and real estate industries, health care organizations and professional services firms. Our consulting services are focused on business intelligence and decision support for executives; internal process improvement; field data capture; and technology systems integration. We are transitioning from a pure services-based business model to a mixed products + services model, and we offer an opportunity to participate in the growth of an exciting new business.
Bachelors' degree in a technical field is preferred.
